Fancybox opens, then instantly redirects to image

    I’ve got Easy FancyBox installed, with the intent to use it in tandem with MetaSlider Pro. But I can’t get it to work correctly.

    The first image in the post shows the issue. When you click on it, it opens in the lightbox briefly. Then it redirects to the image immediately.

    I have run through all the troubleshooting guides (looking for dupe jQuery refs, multiple lightbox plugins, etc) without any luck. I’ve also tried it with the image set to link to “Media File” or to “Custom URL” and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. Lastly, I’ve tried it in the Twenty Fifteen theme, and it exhibits the same behavior.

  • I think it’s got something to do with the Woopra (what?) tracking code that is inserted in the head section. Is that a plugin? Then disable it. Did you edit the theme? Then remove it from the header.php manually.

    Then test again ??

    Tht was indeed it! Thanks. I thought I had tested that one in my disabling of everything last night, guess I missed it.
