1st column issues

I have added the column code on my website and I need to have a title then a set of columns, then another title and and a set of columns and a third title and set of columns. Between the first set and second set of columns there is a huge gap. But not between the second and third. I need this huge gap gone. I have tried a number of things but just cannot get it to decrease in size. Like there is a height put on the set of first column or something?
