video player frame size

I love this lightbox plugin, exactly what I’m looking for.

Only issue is the video player frame does not fit the embedded video properly. There is a black bar to left and right of the video. I’m adding vimeo links in the description of the images so that the videos play in the lightbox. Is there a way to make the frame fit the videos perfectly, as they do for images?
