    Greetings,

I just purchased the Ebook Store plug-in. The download landed in my Mac as a folder, not a zip file. I compressed it to zip so I could use the wordpress plugin utility, as I don’t know anything about FTP. This error happened when I clicked “activate.” A friend says if it’s related to the PHP version he help me resolve it.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home1/dayemine/public_html/sustainablelivingguide/wp-content/plugins/ebook_store/ebook_store.php on line 118

    Hi there,

I have emailed a new copy, may be the download was corrupt?

Thank you and let me know if more help is needed.

Thank you for sending a new copy. I’ve deleted the old plug in file, uploaded the new zip you sent (via the Worpress 4.1.1 install utility), and tried again.

Unfortunately, the same thing seems to be happening, only instead of the error message ending with “on line 118” the error message ends with “on line 114”

P.S. I also notice that you seem to have sent me version 3.4, as the plugins dash is telling me,

“There is a new version of eBook store available. View version 3.6 details or update now.”

    Hi,

This is due to the php version you are using, I will email you a new copy with that compatibility issue fixed.

You will have it in 20 min.
