Transfer WP pages, attachments and menu to another site

Hi everyone,

I have a quick quesiton on upgrading a WP site. I am redesigning a live site on my Win 7 machine (using WebMatrix to set up the WP). I am now ready to transfer the new site design to the live site.

I want to keep the current site’s blog posts and content. I just have a few questions about transferring the following:

– menu – is there a way to export and import a menu?
– pages – i know in WP you can export pages but what happens when it import, does it overwrite existing pages in the live site?
– attachments and images – how do you transfer these? Do you use FTP?

The only thing i need to update is the theme. Which for me, seems to be the easiest one given that you just zip the file and unzip it in the live site.

If anyone can help me with this, that will be great.
