Manually manage points

    Hi, It is possible to manually handle points to users without having to rely on some “Hooks”? I plan on using this plugin (myCRED) together with the “Ultimate Members” and “myCRED extension” to control simply loyalty points in my hotel. That is, every stay and depending on the number of nights that a guest staying in my hotel I add a number of points, and after a number of points I offer a complimentary so I manually deduct the equivalent points.

    Could you help!

    Hi.

    Of course, you use whatever you feel is needed for your setup. You do not need to use Add-ons or Hooks. You can manually award / deduct points from users as an administrator on the Users page in your admin area. You can read about it here.

    Otherwise if you have a plugin to manage your hotel reservations and the plugin is “developer friendly” you could possibly also build a custom hook and award points automatically.
