I created a small four image gallery with one animated gif and three other jpg’s. If I used the responsive gallery with the default thumbnail size, the animation works fine.

Unfortunately the thumbnail at 150×150 are a tad small for the page, so I’d prefer them slightly bigger (200×200). However, if I change the thumbnail setting size even one pixel, the animation ceases to work.

Any idea why, or how I could fix or work around?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately animated gifs can be resized but the animation is lost in the process. This seems to be a limitation of the undelying WPThumb library that is being used.

Thanks for the reply bradvin. I appreciate it.

What I don’t understand is that the original image is 250×250 and is resized to a thumbnail (150×150) to be displayed in the gallery and the animation still works.

I would think it would lose animation when it’s resized there, but it’s not. Only when I try to adjust the size in the gallery to make them bigger since the thumbnail size is a bit small for me.
