10,000 broken thumbnails. need to clear thumbs!

    Hey everyone, I know there is a clear thumbnails option but I have a lot of posts so I get a 500 error timeout when I do this. I;m sure there are a lot of methods via functions.php to deleting all thumbnails or something to that effect.

    anyways, I also purchased a the pro version of this plugin. not that this is relevant, it just might better my chances at receiving support. thanks!

    Edit: Basically I need to unattach all these broken thumbs from posts so I can use the bulk scan for new thumbnails

    You can run the clear thumbnails tool again if it times out, which is very likely if you have 10,000 images to delete. Just check your media library each time to make sure it’s actually making progress.

    Thank you that solved the problem! I noticed It was deleting about 900 images everytime until getting the 500 ajax error. Site is back and running with thumbnails ??
