jetpack connected to the wrong site

i think this might be a wordpress problem, my site doesn’t show stats and the emai by post doesn’t work. i have another ‘backup’ site cloned somewhere, and the email by posts go there, and the statistics are connected to the backup not the real one. maybe a pointer is wrong somewhere. please help, susan
