w3tc with php-memcached

  • Hello all,

    We are using WP with w3tc installed and running on php-memcache extension.

    But we want to use Amazon Elasticache as replacement of onboard memcached server.

    Amazon Elasticache offers AutoDiscovering option (if there is more than 1 node in Memcache cluster). But using AutoDiscover is only available by using Memcached class (like … = new Memcached();)

    Is it possible to use w3tc with php-memcached extension instead of php-memcache?
