• Hello everyone..

I have had a WordPress site up and running for quite awhile now, and 2 weeks ago it started kicking out my admin account saying “you do not have sufficient permissions.” on everything I do. I’ve Googled and tried creating a new admin account with no luck. Last time when I asked here, they told me to contact my domain customer support. I did that and they said they couldn’t find the issue so I’m back here.

I would appreciate all the help and support I can get. Thanks!

  • First step I would recommend you is to use FTP client to rename your /wp-content/plugins folder to any other name (i.e. plugins_off ).

That will turn off all your plugins, and probably solve the issue. If that the case, rename it back to plugins and try enabling plugins one by one until you find the cause of the issue.

If not a plugin, try doing the same with /wp-cont/themes folder.

I tried both and neither worked…

Does anyone know how to help fix this? I also have tried downgrading my WordPress and got the same error. Reset my admin profile too

That’s not a WP message – have you asked your hosting company about this?

A link to your site might be useful as well.

    my site link is:
    bvswpto.org

Also, I have contacted my network company, and they have said it is a WordPress issue after spending 3 hours with them.

Anyone have any other ideas? I still can’t figure anything out…
