PopUp exit on submit

    Hello,

    This popup plugin is really nice. I am using it to enter a form, but as soon as the submit is hit, the popup disappears. That seems a normal behavior for most usage, however in my case, after submitting the form a link appears underneath, therefore the popup should stay open up until users click on this link.

    Anyway to configure the plugin for such behavior ?

    clicking on the white paper download in the right sidebar.

    Submitting the form, the popup disappears instead of staying open for the iser to see the download information.

    Any tips to change the behavior ?

    What form you are using? Does it have the option to redirect users to a page after submitting?
    Maybe you can create a new page and redirect users after submission . Not sure if will work.
    I will have to add some kind of option to avoid popup closing on submission but right now is the only option

    Hello Damian,

    I am using Contact Form 7 in addition to Email Before Download (EBD).

    I can not redirect on submission because EBD print the download link underneath the form after submission.

    However I found a “dirty” workarount until you can fix the issue by displaying the background and PopUp again with JS after a 800ms delay. Without delay, EBD will not print the link correctly.

    Let me know when/if you find a nicer way to resolve this.
