Show box or display a pop up

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m new to WordPress and I’m looking for a way or plugin that will show an expanded of a link WITHOUT opening a new page or taking you to another page. For example, if I want to link the name “Windsor” but when I click on it I would like a small box to pop open displaying say a telephone number that would remain until I click an “X” to close it.

    Could someone tell me if there is a plugin or some other tool that will perform this task?
