Hi. Here’s an older post on the forum that explains how to build a forum.

If you want different user levels, I would use Groups for WordPress.

You can use the meta widget for registration options (make sure to select “Everyone can register” in your backend in Settings > General. (Please make sure you don’t give them a lot of rights otherwise anyone can mess up your website. Subscribers would be a good start.)

Thanks a lot job for help me.
But I’m new to word press and PHP. =/
My purpose is to develop a event promoting web site which is users can log in with a account and submit their events to admin.
admin’ll post event later. So… are there any simple way for my purpose?

    Hi,

Do you currently have a work in progress site or some ideas in mind? Just by the initial details, I think you are looking for a form where users can enter data. The admin will review the content and convert it into a new post. Is my understanding right?

What type of data do you want them to generate? Posts, pages, other info. I haven’t tried it yet, but with many of the events plugins, you should be able to give users the “contributor” authorisation and with that you’ll be able to let them write an event post, but without publishing (as in: you first need to authorise it).
