    I wouldn’t use URL for bg image in the stylesheet.

    And your work order is wrong – multiple times:
    – design for standard compliant browsers first, crap like IE can come later
    – validate your HTML first; the CSS comes later

    On validation page click “show source” and revalidate. The line numbers will become clickable links.

    And an un-asked advice: 173 KB for a background image? That’s insane, sorry.
