Multiple Installations? or diff themes?

  • I have WP installed in a ‘blog’ folder, but want to use a different theme/template for another section so I installed another WP in a ‘videos’ folder. Is this bad? because the two seem to be interfering instead of ignoring each other.

    How do I make 2 installs work in peace?
    OR
    If I don’t install 2 WP’s on my site, can I apply different themes to different categories?
