Site completely down

  • All of a sudden my site shows up with the following error and I can’t even go in and edit anything in the backend.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /nfs/c09/h03/mnt/134813/domains/crocrock.ca/html/wp-content/themes/architect/functions.php on line 262

  • Is Architect your active theme? Is it a premium theme you purchased?

    Do you remember if you have any other themes loaded in your site?

    Yes Architect is the active theme. Not sure if it was a premium theme or not. I’m just new to this website as i just got the client. Everything was working fine then all of a sudden it went down. They did have other themes listed beside the Architect theme.

    Force a theme change by using either FTP or File Manager. Change the name of the active theme by going to wp-content > themes > architect > change to architect-off.

    Check the site for proper operation. The site will likely have missing pieces but you are just checking basic functionality. See if you can log in to the WordPress Dashboard. Post your results and any error messages.
