Slow load and no dashboard after Multisite server transfer

    I transferred my WordPress multisite between servers.

    The domain webhive.com.au is the same but the install moved from /var/www/vhosts/webhive.com.au/httpdocs to /home/webhive/public_html. The new server runs Cpanel. I used the Search and Replace tool on the database – https://github.com/interconnectit/Search-Replace-DB – to correct the folder names.

    The site loaded slowly and the CSS, banner etc were missing.

    I removed .htaccess. Then my home page loaded fast with correct CSS and banner but other pages generated 404 errors.

    I tried the default .htaccess files at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/htaccess. Now my site loads slowly and the page links work but the admin bar is missing from the top of the page and I can’t access the dashboard at webhive.com.au/wp-admin:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

    Would really appreciate some help!

    This was a permissions problem. My server support team fixed this. They said:

    Many files were having 660 permissions but in suphp handler max permission allowed in 755 and that working permissions for folder (755) and for files (644). So I changed the files permissions to 644 and folders permissions to 755
