Fields being deleted on save

    Hi.

    We have a trouble with pricing fields being deleted on save. Not all at once, but a few each save. This happens with the latest ACF Pro and latest Table Field (1.0.5)

    Initial screen (this has already been saved once, and the top right field is missing, though it’s displayed on the front end.

    As you can see it deletes from the top right, each save..
    I have tested it both locally, on a Digital Ocean server (unlimited input_vars, memory and all) and on a production server that may be limited. Same issue on all types.

    I hope you have some insight as to why this might be happening, I will provide you with all details you need – Just ask.

    Hi,

    unfortunately I could not replicate this issue.

    Does this issue happen on a fresh new table field with simple text strings?
    Did you copy and paste the fields content?

    But what ever I ask you, this would not help a lot to solve that issue. What I need is your site to replicate that issue. Either you could give me a login to a test site or I try to replicate this issue local with a copy of your site.

    If you have no public testsite, could you send me a database dump of your local test site? And maybe the site files via dropbox, at least the theme for testing?

    Hi Johann.

    I’ve added you as a user on our test-site, you can go crazy there.

    If you navigate to the “Priser” page and try saving that, you will see the issue happening on the table fields in the Flexible Content Field on there.

    – I do not know if this will happen on a fresh new table.
    – Some content may have been copypasted into the fields, I don’t know for sure.

    After some troubleshooting with Johann I came to the conclusion that it must be a server related issue.
    On the test-server I upgraded from 512MB to 1GB of ram, which solved the issue (plenty of test-sites are running there). And on the live server I increased max_input_vars and php_memory_limit, which also solved the issue there – For now.

    This issue is resolved, and shouldn’t prevent anyone from trying out this plugin on a live site.
