Actually, for example the “Twenty thirteen” theme has a sidebar.php file where I have added the <?php zemanta_related_posts()?> code and it shows related posts in a sidebar for pages also. But you need to add Related Posts “widget” to sidebar via the “Appearance”-> “Widget” too.
