Blog sidebar appearing below posts not to side

I’ve added a blog to my site, with a couple of widgets to display in the right-hand sidebar. This side bar is appearing when you click into actual posts, but not on the main /blog page. On the main blog page, the posts appear full width and the sidebar appears underneath them. How can I make these appear in a sidebar for the main blog page as well as for individual posts? Thanks.
