I just installed and configured TML. I set it up so that on registration the subscriber designates his/her password and an email is sent for confirmation. This seems to work fine and the subscriber can sign in with the password he/she set.

However, the subscriber also gets an email from WordPress with a generated password. Needless to say this is very confusing.

Can anyone tell me how to prevent this WordPress password from being sent.

    TIA,
    Martin

Things have changed since I wrote the above. After fooling around a bit, now what happens is that the new subscriber gets the email I generate through TML with a link to confirm and log in.

He additionally gets an email from WP, but this time it doesn’t have the generated password but the actual password that the subscriber entered when registering.

Is there a setting I”m not seeing in order to prevent that?

Also, when a new subscriber logs in, the toolbar at the top of the page is visible. Does that have anything to do with TML or is that a different issue?

    Thanks,
    Martin

You can change the e-mails sent with the Custom E-mails module. The toolbar always shows for all users unless they disable it or you do.

Thanks for the response, Jeff. I was able to take care of the toolbar question with a plugin I found that hides it automatically for everyone other than the people with admin privileges or whatever class you want.

I went back to the custom emails module and got the problem straightened out.

    Thanks again, Martin.
