    Hello!

I am using version 2.0.79 of the NextGen Gallery plugin. I have selected the NextGen:gallery-caption.php template and have my caption information in the alt text description field for each image.

The information is displaying, but is offset to start in the center of the image and run-on to it’s conclusion. I would like to be able to left align the text and have more than one row. You can see it here: https://www.seattlemetalsguild.org/smg-display-of…s-jury-gallery/

I would like it to look like this instead:

    4 am Brooch, 2015
sterling silver, copper, nickel silver and brass

I am new to CSS, but am happy to insert a snippet if you are willing to tell me where (I have been looking in the gallery-caption.php) and what to add.

    THANK YOU!!!!

I figured out you can use html tags in the field to affect formatting. It would still be nice to find which PHP has the style code and change it universally.

@starlinggirl – We’re happy to read you sorted out this item for your site specifically.

If you want to work with styles then generally speaking you can add your custom CSS via Gallery > Other Options > Styles … if you need “new” HTML containers to work with then creating a custom template based on your current ideas would likely be best.
