quotes and other characters being mangled

  • Since I upgraded to 1.2, curly quotes and other characters are being mangled in the output. I didn’t change anything, so something broke in the upgrade.
    Anyone have any idea how I can fix this? It’s appearing in my posts and in my comments.

    Never mind. I thought my meta tag was set correctly, but wasn’t. Changed to
    <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”application/xhtml+xml; charset=utf-8″ />
    All better

    Ahh….. maybe that’s what my problem is…. I found that when editing my template or categories, my curly-double ‘S’ was getting trashed…… And now that I’ve checked, I see that my charset is an ISO set…… I’ll have to change that tonight.
