Revised Date Not Showing up on Google Results

Hi, all!

I’ve been using the plugin for a while and it shows the update date on my posts themselves, but when I search for the pages in Google I’m still getting the original posting date … which is bumping my Google ranking down further than it probably should be.

Is there something I’m doing incorrectly?

For instance, this post has an updated date of April 7, 2015 … but when you search for “Sandstone Peak” in Google the date appears as 2006.

Any ideas?
