pardon my eyes, but i didnt see any forms/e-mail/online support there

It requires shell access, so you probably can’t install it on shared hosting: https://www.ghostscript.com/doc/9.16/Install.htm

Regardless though, these are the WordPress support forums, not the Ghostscript or Dreamhost support forums. You’ll really be much better off contacting Dreamhost about this.

I contacted them and found no way though, and they said i can install it by my own..but i dont know how to.. I shared it here because I am using wordpress platform to do the site.. sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Ok, if they aren’t willing to install it for you, and claim you can do it yourself, you’ll need shell access from them, then follow this guide: https://www.ghostscript.com/doc/9.16/Install.htm#Install_Unix

To be honest though, I’m 99.9% sure that you will not have the level of access required to install that on a shared server, so I’m guessing they were either confused by your question or they mean that Ghostscript is already installed on your server.

Now, with all that said though, Ghostscript is not required by WordPress.

Just skimming it, it looks like Ghostscript doesn’t need ROOT access, so technically you can install it. But we at DH won’t do it for you. Not even with a VPS (and not at all on DreamPress).

What is it you need it for?

to generate 300 DPI quality image

What are you using that requires Ghostscript to generate this image?

using WooCommerce Business Card and Flyer design plugin

Hm, ok then. That’s an odd requirement for a plugin like that.

Dreamhost provides Unix servers, so you’ll need to follow this specific portion of the installation guide: https://www.ghostscript.com/doc/9.16/Install.htm#Install_Unix

If you need further help, I recommend going to the plugin’s official support channel, as it is a commercial plugin. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
