    Hi,

    By default the from email used by the plugin is the admin one set under Settings – General in your admin UI.

    This can be changed using the UI from Email Customizer module, available in PRO.
    It also allows you to customize the email texts for register, recover password, admin approval etc.

    Are you referring to WordPress Settings – General? If so, the plugin isn’t using the email there… it uses ‘wordpress’ @domain.com

    You are right, the new user email notification comes from [email protected]. You can change this using the built in filters or you can use a free plugin called Mandrill. By using this, all emails will go through the Mandrill servers.
