W3 Total Cache interfering with Facebook sharing

  • Hello,

    I’ve had issues when hitting the sharing button for Facebook (sometimes even Google+) to share any of my blog posts.
    Most of the meta data doesn’t get through.
    I finally noticed that it works just fine if I deactivate the W3 Total Cache plugin, so clearly it’s interfering with the social sharing process, although I have no idea how / why.

    I tried to reject the following user agents:

    facebookexternalhit
    FacebookExternalHit/1.1
    FacebookExternalHit/1.0

    But even then it’s not working properly.

    I hope that someone can help me figure out what I could do.
