Some backing-up help, please

Hi.

The plan is to backup our entire, full wordpress-site, images posts database, everything in order to make a clone of the entire thing, put it in a folder named “en” and start to translate everything to english.

I have made a backup of the database thru phpMyAdmin but this option doesn’t save any of the files so, my question is; what should be my next step?

And when I’ve backed up everything – can I just create a new folder in the root of the server named “en” and somehow upload the backup there thru phpMyAdmin, Or do I have to take another path?

I’ve tried to find how-to and step-by-step guides for this but so far I’ve only found the guide for making the database-backup.

TL;DR – all in all I want to clone our companys wordpress-site just to put the clone in a folder named “en” and then start manually translating all text in posts and pages.
