• I have been installing and uninstalling plugins all afternoon looking for a specific function. I am hoping someone here will have a good suggestion.

I am wanting a map that will determine the visitors geolocation first. Then I want the map to display a results from a certain search.

For example, when the visitor visits the page he/she sees a map filled with “bike repair shops” on a map that is relevant to their particular location.

    Does this make sense?

I am trying to get this plugin to work but it has some challenges. The biggest one so far is that when I click “Activate Plugin” it simply reverts back to the inactive state. The add on I am referencing is the “Current Location Form.” It shows as active in the plugins interface, but still shows that it needs to be activated in the “GEO my” dashboard.

So right now, I am not able to actually add a form. I am not quite sure I want a form anyway, but the plugin seems to require a form to start up.

Since you are the author of the plug in, would you write up a short step by step for me to achieve this goal.

    Here are the parameters:

    1. Random visitor finds site based on Google search of “bike shops around me”
    2. Visitor clicks link on Google SERP and they are taken directly to a page that determines their location and displays a map of bike shops near them

Keep in mind, I am not looking for searches like “bike shops los angeles.” And I don’t want to build pages around certain locations. I want to build ONE page that would determine their location and show them a specific set based on a keyword.

I am ONLY looking for searches that say “around me.” This way the tool is immediately useful to the site visitor without imputing information into a form. Does this make sense?

So if your plugin could work like this, please let me know. I would love to stop having to search, install, test, uninstall, search, install, etc.
