• Having uploaded a well known free-plug-in W3TC which had loads of great reviews I also paid $150 for site optimisation. Long story short I never received anything from W3 accept an automated email.

Over the last four months I have tried every possible avenue to reach them including phone, email, twitter, even the forum comments (which I got a slap on the wrist for from the WP mods) and have had nothing back not even an acknowledgement.

Thing is a quick search of the plug-ins comments section and it turns out i’m not alone. In fact it pretty much seems that NO-ONE is getting the service they pay for.

However, there are so many 5 star, one word reviews for the free plug-in this is hard to spot (especially for a novice to these forums) You see the high average score, the positive posts about the plug-in elsewhere and think this is a legit operation.

I’ve looked but there seems to be no way of reporting this company for scamming people and using the WordPress Plugins section to do it.

Is it possible to do something so others don’t end up paying their money to this fraudulent company?

You can’t report a commercial service/ product to the plugins team at WordPress because nothing’s paid for on www.ads-software.com.

I am sorry but commercial disputes are not for these forums. That’s something that you will have to take up with that company directly and/or your credit card company.

    You’ve left a 1 star review here.

    That will have to do.

I am closing this topic, please do not repost this again here. I will for the time being permit that review to stand but if it becomes a free for all then that will be closed as well.
