Author byline

I installed a plugin called WP Author,Date and Meta Remover, I activated the plugin, but then decided to remove it. Now the author name no longer shows on the post on the home page. It used to show before I installed the plugin. I’m not sure where this setting is in the dashboard. The author name does show when you click through to the post. But I want it to show on the home page as well.
