• Hello,
I know there has been alot of posts on this subject but I can’t seem to find any solution to getting the “add to cart” button to refresh the shopping cart widgets and or even update the cart at all till I select another page or refresh.

For example, here is a product and you can see that the “Add to Cart” button just gives me the spinning “updating cart”. I have all plugins except for WP-ecommerce turned off so i’m not sure why this is still happening. After turning off all plugins and changing the theme to the twenty twelve theme I pushed flush cache and its still not working.

    Please help!

    Hi DIllon!

I just went to your site, clicked add to cart, and it worked fine. Here’s a screencast.

    Am I missing anything?

    Thanks!
That helps narrow the problem down… It seems as though if i’m logged in it doesn’t refresh the shopping cart… Not a big deal but it does make testing a bit more of a hasle when I have to sign out every time.

On several sites, I’m actually having the same problem when WP Super Cache is turned on.

Until some time ago (not sure exactly how long, but possibly since the recent security updates to WordPress and/or the last update to WPEC, the shopping cart widget was updated via an AJAX call, but now, the cached version is shown and remains without change.

I’ve had to disable caching to make this go away and I’m hoping at least for a workaround, but hopefully for a proper fix. I’ve logged this as an issue
