    WordPress API is what you require. You turn on this either through Jetpack, or other plug-ins, or you could write your own using functions.php.

    A friend of mine talked about this at Mumbai WordCamp 2015, sharing his notes here –
    Slideshare and Notes.

    You could always look at plug-ins such as apppresser to do the same.
