product shipping to different countries depending on size of order

  • Hi,

    My customer is selling coursematerial from the US. They ship world wide. One of their products is a journal. If they journal is purchased together with other course material, they will ship it worldwide. If a customer how ever only wants to buy the journal, they will only ship within the US. Does anyone know if it is possible to set the journal product up in such a way that customers from overseas can only buy it as part of a larger order, while US customers can buy it on its own.
    I have not been able to find a way to do this. All help will be grately appreciated.

  • I’m not sure, but this might be what you want: WooCommerce Conditional Shipping and Payments

    Read that page to get a summary of what it does. One section reads:

    “Exclude shipping countries and states in your shop based on conditions such as cart value and cart contents, including products and quantities.”

    That does look as if it will do what it needs. I have taken your suggestion and contacted the developers to make sure. I will post the reply here when I get it.
