Let "contributor" set "featured image"

  • How can I allow “contributors” to set a featured image on their own posts?

  • Contributor role don’t have upload_files capability and therefore don’t have access to set the feature image of the post. To allow them to do it, you’ll need to install a plugin for role editing and add that capability to the contributor role.

    Ok thanks for the answer.

    Is there any other role with the settings to make registered users write their own posts with featured image but not to publish it? Or do I have to use this plugin for role editing?
