W3 messes up site functionality

It appears that w3 total cache is causing my Ecommerce site to not function properly. One of the many bugs not mentioned here within is the menu drop down items. It appears that when the plugin is activated, the menu drop down function is disabled. When deactivated, the menu drop function appears back to normal. Also, images appear to be invisible and it pretty much screws up the whole site. Do you have a solution to this as this plugin is extremely instrumental in the performance of the site? Also, do you have recommended settings for a Woo commerce site?
