    Hello,
    I want the slideshow that is default on the theme to be the home page. But I also would like a blog page that shows my latest posts. I am aware that to do this I must go to Customize > Static front page and select my home page to be a static page. But when I do that my home page slideshow goes away. How can I make it so that my blog posts go on my “Blog” page and my home page is that big slider/slideshow.
    I’d appreciate any help you can give me.

    Hi,

    It has a blog template. So use that on whichever page you want to show the blog.

    So go to settings>readings and choose show latest posts to have the homepage back.

    And then go to Pages>Blog page and choose page template blog to have it set up as a blog.
