The site url is upliftfm.com. It seems to be running ok, but when I go to ‘Settings > General>, I receive the following:
“Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in path-to-translation-install.php on line 59” (edited slightly to delete actual path). The site is running on http as opposed to https.

Anyone got any ideas? Feels a bit weird to be on the other end of the support stick lol. TIa for any assistance. Every1 giving support on here is awesome.

Well, I renamed the plugins folder. That resolved the situation. Obviously, when I renamed it back, the problem recurred. I renamed a couple suspect plugins, & the problem resolved again. When I renamed them back to their original names, the problem remained resolved. Go figure! Any1 believe in WordPress gremlins?

Hi, jamie4u. The truth is, since I marked this topic resolved, you’re likely not to get any replies.

Please consider starting your own topic, as per forum guidelines at:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome

Please remember to include your version of WordPress, the url of your site, & any information you think might help us troubleshoot the issue, i.e., when it started, was it on the heels of an update, etc. Please also remember to make your subject line sufficiently descriptive so that volunteers w/expertise in that specific area will be more likely to assist.

I outlined the method I used to resolve my particular difficulty, but, unless you have the exact same configuration as that particular website, i.e., you’re on the same server (doubtful), then things may very well be different.

I wish you luck resolving any issues you’re experiencing.
