  • I am experiencing the same problem. Has anyone found a solution?

And…I found the solution. The wp-vidavee.php file cannot be in its own folder. It must sit in the plugin folder.

Thank you htillberg, it’s working now!!!!

Originally the plugin wasn’t designed to be housed in a subfolder in the wp-contents/plugins directory. The fix was to move the wp-plugins.php file out of the zip folder and into your wp-contents/plugins directory.

The new version, 0.18, should fix this issue. (actually was fixed in 0.16 but due to other circumstances, this update has been delayed until now).

I seem to be having issues with this. I add the code to my post {vidavee id=”6249″ w=”320″ } but all that is seen is “zero length asset”

    What am I missing?

you will get “zero length asset” as an error code when an asset could not be transcoded for whatever reason… in this case, the codec that the file was created with is a commercial codec or proprietary codec.

I don’t want to use this forum for troubleshooting specific individual video asset issues, however you can contact vidavee support using the email address wpsupport _at_ vidavee dot com

I will have an update on the server that allows reporting of a bad asset to start a review process in the next few days.
