You can also see it on our front page… https://goodfruit.com

If we get no response here in a day or two, I am going to have to find a replacement. Please put any suggestions you might have here.

    Thanks

I guess the recent uploads by user is no longer supported… So I used the playlist “Uploads” instead and that removes the “device no longer supported” video.

Hi Tifa, can you tell us how to use the playlist “Uploads”? What do you mean by that?

Or do you use the widget? I use the shortcode…

I used shotcode too. Before I used user to get the latest uploads:
    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery feed="user" user="user-ID"]

But that results to having an extra “no longer supported” video. So I used playlist instead:
    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery feed="playlist" user="playlist-ID"]

If you are the owner of the Youtube channel. When you go to your channel, you will be able to add a section in there. And there is one “by uploads”. If you play all that, you would be able to get the playlist ID.

Your playlist ID shows after the &list=playlist-ID

hmm. thanks. But I can’t find any option to “add a section”

Same here, waiting for a new version of the plugin.

Tifa – What “rules” do you add under the playlist settings to force the playlist to include everything uploaded?

Playlist does work with the widget. All you do is create a playlist and take the list of characters after the list= in the URL of the playlist and add that to the widget ID request.

    It’s a stopgap for now.

    Hi tifa !

Is there any way to find out the playlist-ID, being not the owner of the channel?

    Thanks
    Tom

Here is how I fixed the problem using the widget

First, you need to go to your YouTube channel. Over on the left menu click “My Channel”
From the horizontal menu, click “videos”

From the drop menu at the top choose “All Videos” the default is “Upload” After choosing “All Videos” move your mouse by the title “Upload” and a “Play” button will appear next to “Upload”

    Click “Play”

Your first video will start to play. Over on the left menu at the top will be the name of your Upload playlist. Example “Uploads From xxx”

Click on that playlist “Upload From xxx”

In the address bar of your browser will be something ending in list=
after the list= is your Upload playlist id.
    Copy that ID down.

In your widget choose Playlist under video feed type and enter that playlist id.

    That fixed my problem.

Now if you have a page with the shortcode. I tried several things and was unable to find a fix for the shortcode. So, the easy way I did this is that I’m using the theme WooThemes “Canvas”. I used the page “Widget” template.

Using WooThemes free plugins Woo Sidebars I created a new widget area for that page. Add the YouTube gallery to that widget area and that fixed the problem.

    Hope this helps!
