wordpress plugin update

    I see that some of the plugins are not being updated.
    How long should I wait before replacing those plugsin that aren’t updated?

    for example let say there is a plugin xyz and in the last 6 months it have not been updated should I replace this with another plugin that was updated a few days ago?
