Widget visibility feature gone with WordPress 4.2 update?
-
Hi there.
I absolute love Jetpack. One of its great and important features, is the ability to customise the visibility of widgets, so that certain widgets are visible on certain post/pages or types of post/pages only. Unfortunately, the feature has suddenly disappeared so the widgets’ visibility can no longer be customised, they just all show up on every page.
Additionally, my blog’s general customisations of layout and colours are gone.
I suspect the culprit it the newest WordPress update, 4.2. It brings absolutely no useful improvements, but has introduced a slow working “customisation” mode where widgets et.c. are supposed to be customised now – with the features/options to do so gone, and possibly wrecked havoc with other design functions too.
Does the missing Jetpack features indeed have something to do with the WordPress 4.2 update, and is there anything you can do about it?
Thanks.
Anna.
