  • Yes, having exactly the same problem with one site. On another, it works. So I’m currently comparing. Please please let me know if you solve it first. Cheers.

maybe the author can help? i don’t get it.

Probably best to get in contact via the github project then…

Think we’re gonna have to work this out ourselves, no support available that I can see. Have you made any progress?

I don’t know where to start. Do you think it is a server configuration conflict?

Well, it has to be some kind of configuration issue. The working version is installed on a preconfigured bitnami wordpress server on amazon. The faulty version is installed on another server using the 5-minute install process. Everything else appears to work correctly…

This could be confirmed by setting up another amazon bitnami wordpress, if you fancy doing that.

So here we can’t hope for some answers by the author?

They write that they don’t monitor these forums, so probably not. I have discovered that my two websites have different php versions.

Working one: Running PHP version: 5.4.37
Broken one: Running PHP version: 5.6.7

    Your version?

Solved. You need to downgrade php to sub 5.5…

thank you. i was on 5.5 and it didn’t work. i downgraded on 5.4 and voila: working. but i don’t get the reward site or something. just no warning when entering the mail. the mail address is collected, without any further informations for the user.

    Running a custom theme?

    nope. https://eduardpiazza.de/testcenter/?page_id=13

standard twelve fourteen theme. any further ideas?

I saw this behaviour when the prelaunchr.js script wasn’t being loaded correctly in the browser, so check that. Also try twentythirteen…

i checked the console, the script is loaded. no luck anyway. checked with another theme (2013). still no luck
