4.2 Upgrade – View Post then Back not working

  • While writing my posts, I will click on “Post updated. View post” directly after updating. When I click on the Back arrow, it takes me back to the editing screen, but it is now on a previous version, not the current one. I am using Windows 8.1 and version 11 of Internet Explorer.

    This is quite bothersome, since it took me some while to figure out what was going on. It seems to be OK when using Firefox 37 as a browser. I suppose this is just a word of warning to those using Internet Explorer.

    Sounds like an IE issue although I’ve not seen anyone else with this issue – have you tried clearing your cache and cookies on IE?

    Be sure you’ve cleared any caching on your site as well.

    Yep, that is my take on the problem, too. I did clear cache and reboot before trying it again then reported it here as a possible problem. Microsoft installed updates a day or so ago — maybe that is the cause. Won’t be the first time they screwed something up…

    LOL – yeah, can’t really argue with that :)! Hope they get it sorted.
