How do I incorporate WP into my design?

  • I already have a layout. I just want to add my WP blog right into the space of my already designed page. How do I encorporate WP into my design without going through the theme process?

  • Ehm you don’t?

    It’s really not that hard. If you just look at the default theme and pick all the php tags from there. It might need a little tweaking here and there but the first step is easy.

    which PHP file from the default theme can be copied into a layout? Does it have to be in the same directory as my WP blog? I’m getting a parse error.

    It’s not THAT easy I’m afraid ?? Every part of your blog has it’s own template file, which are all the files in your theme directory. So you’d have to use all the files of your default theme.
