    I just installed the optimizer theme, and it’s beautiful. But I am having a problem with the slider content getting cut off when viewed on smaller screens. I have a static slide background image and text in the content box for the static slide. As the screen gets smaller, the slider content moves up. When I view my website on my mobile devices, the header covers up the text in my slider content. When viewed on my phone, the header is no longer transparent and the slider content is completely cut off.

    Looking through the demos at layerthemes.com, I see the same thing happening on some of the demos (most noticeably https://optimizer.layerthemes.com/demo11/ ) but other demos seem to have the content in the slider being more responsive.

    Any tips for formatting slider picture or content to prevent this? Or is there a way to make the CTA buttons hidden on mobile layout?

    Mindy,

    There is a small bug in the theme which will be fixed in the the next version. Meanwhile, you can go to Appearance> Editor > stylesheet and remove this line to fix the issue:

    #stat_img{ height:auto!important;}

    I tried that, but didn’t notice any difference.

    Mindy, Are you sure about that? Whats your site address?

    That line is out of my stylesheet right now. It looks exactly the same as with it in on desktop, tablet, and phone.

    Mindy,

    Looks like you are using a caching plugin, which is causing some javascripts to not render properly. Can you disable the “Javascript” minification option and then clear the plugin cache?

    Let me know.

    I wasn’t sure if I would turn off all the right settings, so I just deactivated the caching plugin. I did have it deactivated while I was editing and checking my site as well.

    Mindy, I just checked your site on an android mobile device. The slider text is lifted up on top for a few seconds and when the page load finishes the text displays fine..

    Can you see the headline text, too? It gets cut off on my phone. I did spend some time reformatting the text layout so the paragraph text doesn’t get cut off on my phone at least. But the headline still does. Before I had done that, the headline and part of the paragraph was going off screen on my phone and on my tablet. It all fits on my tablet right now.

    Mindy, This is how your slider looks on iphone 5:

    Oh, good. I checked a different android phone, and it all fits on it, too. Must be my phone.
