    First let me say what a great theme and what brilliant support. I have found custom css to do nearly everything I needed to keep this new wp site similar to the branding on our original site. There is however one bit of formatting I cannot seem to change. When you hover over the main menu in the header on a page a sub menu appears. I have successfully changed the background color of this sub menu to blue but the blue background of this dropdown menu has a white border top and bottom. I would like this to be blue as well and have searched for an answer but not found it mentioned anywhere. Is this possible?

  • Hi John,
    could you share a link to your website?

    Hi
    Thanks for the interest. I am trying to not put links on the web to avoid google finding it at the moment although I have an htaccess file which is supposed to stop google from indexing it. However if you go to our current non wp site thebeachfiley.co.uk and then add a /wp to it you will be on the wp siteI am working on. Then the “Details and features” menu item has a sub menu where you can see the white borders top and bottom. This is when viewed on a desktop. The menu and sub menu opening from the 3 bars on a mobile phone is fine.

    Availability and prices?
    Something like:

    ul.dropdown-menu {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    ?

    Brilliant Thankyou. Looks so much better now and as you say the submenu was on availability and prices.
