Not loading custom post type category template

  • Hi, I have a problem with the plugin. I have a custom post type ‘model’, with the taxonomy ‘model-category’.
    Without the plugin activated, when I want to list a category, wordpress uses the template ‘taxonomy-model-category.php’. But when the plugin is active, uses the ‘archive.php’.
    I’ve been looking for the answer in the forum, but I can’t find how to fix it.

    Hi!

    I don’t reproduce this with latest WP and Polylang.
    Are you using the latest version of Polylang?
    Could you check for a conflict with your theme or your other plugins?

    Hi, I am having the same problem.

    I have a category.php and a category-news.php which I want to load specific layout for news (custom post type). In default language it loads ok, when I switch the language it goes to the default category.php file.

    Is there a workaround for this?
