• Hi,

While this plugin works great most of the time, seems ever now and then (during a full cache empty / recreate) a couple random webpage might be incorrectly cached (possibly due to server timing creating those pages). They appear as blank pages without a HTML header or any content.

To fix this is simple… login as admin, view that affected page not cached, let it load, and purge it’s cache to recreate it again for the public. The second time around, when the webpage cache is created, it works fine – every time no issues.

However, I have to check the individual webpages, just to make sure they got recreated correctly after a full cache empty. A couple pages out of a few thousand always tend to mess up and appear blank.

Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve seen it mentioned by a few in the past. I don’t know if it’s the same or not.

Perhaps a double check could be added into the plugin itself?

If the cached page is empty / no header / 0kb file size, or something like that… then reattempt the caching of that page, then if it fails again don’t cache it (optional: warn the admin about the page failure).

  • Have the same problem. Most of the time my frontpage just turns blank …
A solution to delete and recreate pages with no header /0kb file size sounds perfect to me :).
